What happened to the chemistry, the time or place?
Where is the chase? The persistence?

It's all about a look, an answer with a glance.
Fixated glares match the flickering stares.
That's all it takes.
Call me old-fashioned, but I'm worth a chase.
Not this 1, 2, 3, 4 second pace
I'm not 2nd best, I come in first place.
