Dark night

Dismissed

Silenced

For so long

As long as I can humanly remember 

One can only

Take so

Much before erupting violently

Without warning 

Unexpectedly

The storm comes and all I feel is thunder, and all I see is lightning 

Lighting up the night sky

Everyone takes cover 

Seeks shelter with one another

But me

I am but a mere shadow in the sky off in the distance some odd miles back

Creating chaos a ruckus with every turn I take 

Reaching land I climb back up into the sky

In hopes of becoming one with the night
