Knowing the sun will rise even
on the day that I won't, is kind of promising
Knowing the moon will still shine
let's me know there is hope

When life gets you down
When you can't tell left from right, the good from the bad
It doesn't matter
Life continues whether you do or not

That's the way it is
Life happens whether
you're present or you're absent
Whether you're here or there

There's something comforting to know
When I don't rise, the sun will
When I fall, so will the night
Knowing that, makes me feel alright.
